Kids’ Lit Quiz 2011

The annual Kids’ Lit Quiz was hosted by de la Salle on Monday, 14 February 2011. Quizmaster, Wayne Mills, congratulated all the schools, who participated in the Johannesburg leg of the quiz, on their commendable knowledge of reading materials.

Brescia House entered a Grade 6 and Grade 7 team into the quiz and the girls thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon. Our teams were not placed in the top positions but we are proud of the contestants and thank them for representing Brescia House so admirably.

The Grade 6 team consisted of: Daina Eadie, Nicole Harwood, Tajme Maharaj and Jemima van Hagen. Brigid Coulter supported the team as the reserve.

The Grade 7 team consisted of: Sabine Letellier, Jessica-Lyn Peo, Christina Seuffert and Kieryn Sutton, with Lauren Fenthum as the reserve.

We congratulate the team from Rodean for achieving the top score. This team will now travel to Cape Town to participate in the South African leg of the competition.
