Primary School Parent Talk – Saturday, 19 February 2011

On Saturday, 19 February 2011, dynamic speaker and author, Nikki Bush, presented her workshop, entitled “Parenting on the Run” to the Brescia House Primary School parents and staff.

Thank you to the parents and teachers who attended the workshop. Nikki is an entertaining presenter and her message is accessible to all of us who are working hard at being the best parents and teachers that we can be.

Nikki kept her audience enthralled for the session and she left us with the message that, as parents, we must believe that we can be a source of magic and mystery for our children. She also reminded us that it does not always take the most expense toys and gadgets to fill up our children’s “emotional cups”. However, we did enjoy playing with the games that she brought along and the venue was filled with much laughter.

It was a wonderful morning of good food, company, fun and education and we look forward to your continued support of future workshops that we host at Brescia House.
